Be in Ava’s Next Book
Okay, what I really mean is one of Ava’s next books. My mind is always bubbling over with creative ideas.
My current book project that I’m working on is “Is Your BUT Too Big? Getting Out of Your Own Way for Maximum Success.” That one is underway.
And here’s what I’m thinking will be next. I’ve been thinking about these two books for a while.
These are two of the projects I’d like to launch to tell the stories of Feisty Women. That’s you. And me.
Women’s Business: What Fabulous, Feisty Women Have Learned About Success
Topics might include: Working with Passion, Woman to Woman, Success that Matters, I Did It My Way, A View From the Top, Playing Well with Others, Success Secrets, Gutsy Decisions, Working with the Male Species, It Takes Teamwork, Overcoming Obstacles, Do I Really Have to Play Golf?
We’d like to include stories from entrepreneurs, and women from all kinds of businesses—corporations, education, small business, not-for-profits.
We want to inspire women to “go for it” in business, and to learn from other women who have achieved success. We’re looking for inspirational, true stories of 1000 words or less that will touch the hearts and souls of the women who read them. We’d like our readers to react with a laugh, a tear, a smile, or a deep feeling of knowing or connection.
Your story should be powerful, universal, and have a message relevant to women. We’re not looking for essays, commentaries, tributes, or biographical pieces. We’re simply looking for stories that provide inspiration, affirmation, hope, and celebration for women. If you’d like a sense of the kind of stories we’re looking for, you might look at the “Chicken Soup” books, or at the submission guidelines on their website.
You may submit as many stories as you like. For each author we publish, a fifty word biography will be included. The deadline for submission is December, 2010, although we’d love to have your story sooner.
Email submissions are strongly preferred. Send stories with your name, address, phone number and email address on the manuscript to ava@feistywomenrock.com
